This pottery jug is hand decorated with snowberries pressed into the clay and is finished in my blush pink glaze.
Each one is hand thrown on Betty my pottery wheel in my log cabin studio in Somerset, you can see and feel the throwing rings and the hand of the potter from the making process. With its comforting wide shape you'll feel that you need to cup this beauty in both hands to get all the feels from the texture of the stoneware clay and the texture of the flowers and leaves. I have matching mugs available too on a separate listing.

The Thoughtful Potter
taunton, somerset
Small batch artisan stoneware pottery hand made in my log cabin studio in Somerset.
I create functional pottery that feels delicious to hold in your hands. Hand thrown on Betty my pottery wheel my pots are very tactile, you can feel the artisanal making processes in each one.
My work is inspired by inspiring words, my love of nature and the beautiful Somerset countryside where I live.
My pottery is decorated by either imprinting flowers into the clay or free painting flowers, birds or fungi and are finished in my range of unique hand mixed glazes.
