Named after Sparkenhoe Farm where dairy farmers, Dave and Joe Clarke produce some of the very best traditional Leicestershire cheeses. They are fantastic traditional cheesemakers and stalwarts of British craft. A particular favourite here at Sytch Farm Studios.
This one features an Ash wood handle sourced from Acton Burnell in Shropshire.

Dimensions - The blade is approx 10.5cm. Overall 21cm
These knives are made from traditional high carbon steels not stainless steel, this allows them to take a fine edge fairly easily, but the downside is they may spot with rust if not given the proper care and attention. Carbon steel forms a patina which can be very beautiful and acts as a protective layer slowing further corrosion. Please wipe it down with a hot cloth or if necessary wash in soapy water and dry immediately. Apply a little cooking oil if not in regular use.
