A mid-century chest of drawers with a bold ink-blot resin design, this piece brings a touch of retro modernity to any room. This chest of drawers is believed to date from the 1950s, with a classic mid-century design and a plywood and pine construction.
The frame is painted in a soft off-white Eggshell with a satin sheen, leaning slightly towards a light beige. The design on the drawer fronts is created from hand-painted paper, cut and collaged to create a unique monochrome ink-blot effect. This is sealed with glossy resin for a smooth, glass-like finish that's both durable and inviting to the touch. The finish is hard-wearing and can be wiped clean easily.
To finish, the interior of each drawer and the legs are enriched with a glossy clear wood oil to enhance the grain and add depth to the overall design. A hand-painted colour card can be provided on request.
