Hand-Painted ‘Daisy Fields’ Vintage Cabinet

The ‘Daisy Fields’ vintage cabinet is a navy blue statement piece with a hand-painted floral glass panel. A unique piece of furniture with a French carved look, displaying hand-painted artwork; the cabinet itself is a beautiful example of a Victorian Gothic revival style and as such has unique carved scrolling around the glass, and elaborately decorated solid wood legs which are very striking.

This piece is crafted from mahogany, and has been first fully stripped and then painted a sumptuous rich navy blue named ‘Deadly Nightshade’ to highlight the wonderful carved frame creating a striking silhouette. This acts as the perfect backdrop to colourful, hand-painted artwork, making this an ideal piece of furniture for an interior decor lover.

The bespoke glass panel is inspired by the wild meadows and daisies that surround my workshop, and I have decided to paint them in complimentary shades of blue, cream, yellow and pink; the painted design has been sealed with clear resin on the reverse of the glass for a robust and practical finish. The interior has been painted dark navy to suit the exterior.

This is a very unique piece which is very practically sized so it could be used in a variety of different rooms; Perhaps as a drinks cabinet for bottles and glasses, or it could also work as a lovely bedside cabinet or cupboard.
