This handmade paper sculpture of a blue tit brings the magic of nature to your home. Made from hand printed papers in happy blue and yellow, this free standing bird sculpture is covered in hand cut feathers.
He has a yellow and white belly, with dark grey details, a green back, blue wings and tail, a blue cap, white cheeks and a dark grey eye stripe. His feet are made from paper covered hand shaped steel wire, and his eyes are faceted shiny black beads. Each sculpture is unique.
It is always so delightful to find a blue tit visiting the garden. They often band together with other species, finding safety in numbers. Blue tits combine my favourite colours; blue and yellow. These chaps are much larger than their real life pals, so they make more of a statement on your mantelpiece.
Blue tits are the original milk thieves, known for piercing old bottle tops. They don’t crop up much in folklore, suggesting they used to stay hidden in the woods. Designed and made in the UK.
