The birds perch in a cut out on rim of this hand made dish with hand painted hearts, bird prints and kisses whilst gazing at their handsome reflection. A wonderful serving bowl to add a bit of kitsch to the table.

I love the kitsch value a budgie brings with their bright coloured feathers, bells and mirrors. This piece was thrown on my potter's wheel and trimmed, stamped and altered to attach a miniature bird sculpture and tiny birdprints. After the first firing the piece was hand painted with underglaze colours prior to glazing with clear glaze and firing once more.

Made individually from white earthenware clay therefore the bowl you receive may vary slightly from the photographs.

Although this bowl can be put in the dishwasher, hand washing is recommended to maintain longevity.
