This charming little 'Cheddar and Olives' oil painting on an antique pewter plate is a unique wall decoration featuring a hand-painted still life. This original oil painting by artist Jac Scott, depicts a wedge of cheddar cheese with two olives on an antique pewter plate, most probably dating back to the 1800s.
The maker's mark is engraved on the back of the plate.
These simple still life studies look great on their own or even better in a group. Building a plate-scape is simple as they are ready to hang with a brass plated hanger, so super quick and easy to attach to your wall. Alternatively, you could place the plate on a special stand.
