Our conker bag is fully lined, made from bio washed linen, quilted with 100% organic cotton batting and a recycled cotton yarn drawstring hand dipped in natural beeswax. The linen is made from the flax plant, a strong plant best grown in northern Europe which needs little or no fertilisers and very little in the way of extra water or pesticides as its happy in poor quality soil. Every part of the plant is used and what isn't needed for linen can be used to make linseed oil, paper, cattle feed and soap. Therefore linen is almost naturally organic, completely biodegradable, recyclable and due to its natural absorbency, requires less dye than cotton.

All the fabric and trims have been sourced here in East London supporting local tradespeople and businesses and reducing carbon emissions on transportation. We also hope you will use it for as long as possible, repairing, patching and repurposing over the years.

Personalisation: You can add personalising letters - either for whose it is, or whats going to go in it! C for Cars, Crayons or Cecilia, full words or initials. Once purchased, I will choose the letter colours based on what I feel works best for your piece but if you have any particular colour preference send via holly.co/customerservice and I will do my best to accommodate!
