A visual exploration of bird song patterns in the dawn chorus. This 14-page art book transforms the sound waves of individual bird species into visual art, arranged by the order they join the morning chorus.
The stave design illustrates each song, with dots that amplify and darken as the song would get louder, creating a visual crescendo that fills the page as the sound fills the trees. It’s for nature lovers, birdwatchers, and anyone curious about the intersection of art and science.
Handmade in the UK.
