A data-driven art print exploring the most common bird colours in UK gardens. The palette of bird colours is amazing from yellow flashes of goldfinch to the purples of wood pigeons. But what is the most dominant colour filling our gardens?
Using data from the garden bird watch survey and image analysis of RSPB illustrations, this piece attempts to answer that question. 100 colours from the 20 most common garden birds in the UK have been ranked based on how prevalent the bird and how dominant the colour.
This is an open edition lithograph print, sold unframed. Designed and crafted by ploterre.
