Bird Colours Book With Solid Brass Binding

A unique book exploring the most common bird colours in UK gardens. The palette of bird colours is amazing, from the yellow flashes of a goldfinch to the purples of wood pigeons. But what is the most dominant colour filling our gardens?

Using data from the Garden Bird Watch survey and image analysis of RSPB illustrations, this piece attempts to answer that question through a new book form. 100 colours from the 20 most common garden birds in the UK have been ranked based on how prevalent the bird and how dominant the colour, and presented in a book based on the infamous Pantone swatch. As well as providing an easy comparison across colours, this book also expands on the process behind the work.

Ideal for birdwatchers, artists, and nature lovers.
