Weather Watchers Words Book

A limited edition artist book of weather-themed concrete poems, printed on letterpress and presented in a kraft box.

Visualising weather data with words, this collection uses data from weather stations across the UK. Each poem visualises the stories within rain, wind, snow and sunlight hours data by a carefully positioned array of letters, using a variety of weather data from 1836 onwards.

The book includes four letterpress printed poems on different coloured paper alongside an explanatory sheet detailing how to read each poem and the data behind them. All are presented in a letterpress printed presentation box.

As well as being read as a book, the individual poems are loose leaf and can also be framed as prints. The example frame shown is A4 with an A6 aperture mount.
