We are completely dotty about our block printed tablecloths. A simple yet striking design with a burst of yellow border. We love mixing prints and have designed this style to be layered up with our signature Ume floral napkin sets and our striped placemats.
Whether you’re having a relaxed lunch or planning a special dinner, our block printed table linen collections will help you create a tablescape of dreams.
When creating a woodblock print, the design is first traced onto translucent paper, to guide the block maker who then slowly carves it out of wood using a hammer and chisel. The printer then dips the blocks into a pad that holds the different dyes.
One block per colour is then stamped carefully and precisely by hand, to start building up the design, layer by layer. There are no seams on the tablecloths, the border is just an extension of the main design, a little detail showing the small artisanal details we love.

Eco-friendly AZO free dyes.
Printed contrast border.
Matching napkin sets are available.
Wash at 30˚. Do not tumble dry / do not bleach. Low iron if required.
Each tablecloth is individually printed using traditional methods. You may find slight variations in pattern and colour as each artisan will print with different pressure, in his own way. We believe these add charm and tell a story, making each product unique.
