Bring the Dorset coastline into your home with the Durdle Door Large Round Handcrafted Ceramic Vase. Handcrafted in the UK, this round ceramic vase features a speckled blend of cobalt blue tones inspired by the Dorset coastline.
Ideal for displaying freshly picked garden flowers or elegant arrangements, its wide opening and rounded form allow stems to fall naturally. Whether filled with vibrant blooms or soft, dried foliage, it transforms simple stems into something beautifully unique.
Inspired by happy childhood trips to Durdle Door in Dorset, these vases encapsulate the pebbled shoreline through their dynamic glazes. Each is truly unique and may differ very slightly from the photo as each glaze melts, creating its own unique pattern.
My work is crafted at my home studio in West Berkshire, UK. Each piece is unique and bears the signs of the handcrafted process. My glazes are food safe and items can be put in the dishwasher. Each piece is crafted from stoneware clay, then bisque fired, glazed, and fired a second time. Pottery is a long process with each piece taking a week or two to complete. It is a labour of love.
