A solid oak serving board with charred grill lines, ideal for displaying and serving grilled food on the table. Hand cut from locally sourced reclaimed oak, it is finished using the traditional Japanese Yakisugi technique of colouring, sealing, and preserving wood with fire.
It’s barbecue season! Whatever the weather, this chunky wooden serving board is perfect to show off and serve grilled seasonal veg, meat and fish. Made from solid oak with distinctive charred grill lines, it brings that barbecue feeling (even on a rainy day!)
The boards are lightly charred around the edges, with grill lines across the top and a charred hold handle. After charring, they are combed, sanded, washed, and rubbed down with a natural oil. Using salvaged oak, fire, and natural oils makes these boards 100% natural and environmentally friendly.
