This solid sycamore coat rack is hand crafted in our studio in Cumbria, United Kingdom.
It features seven solid oak minimalist cone tapering hanging knobs, spaced evenly and secured from the rear so as not to have any visible fixings.
On the rear there are two antique brass keyhole fixings, which allow you to set out the screws on your wall and then it will simply slot over each screw head and lock in place. There are two screws and rawl plugs provided for fixing into a solid wall. If you are fixing onto a wooden surface, simply use the screws and not the plugs.
Width: 800 millimetres
Height: 73 millimetres
Depth: 45 millimetres
The sycamore wall plate has been sourced from storm fallen trees, which have been dried naturally over a few years. All the wooden surfaces have been nourished with danish oil twice to bring out the beauty of the wood grain and have been finished with a natural beeswax coating, which has a very slight satin sheen.
We also have a smaller 400mm option, which has 3 oak hanging knobs. You will find this in our shop as a separate listing.
Please be aware, this is a natural wooden product and the grain and marking will vary from rack to rack, which makes each one unique. Some racks may contain splits, knots and darker or light patches in colouration and should be seen as part of the beauty of the rack.

Labour & Lustre
Labour & Lustre is an independent, creative woodwork shop, making small batch production pieces for your home and garden. I focus on handmade production techniques and whilst the pieces I make are very much focussed around functionality, I also pride myself on the use of high quality raw materials with unique characteristics.
I work closely with local sawmills to source raw materials to work with. Every single piece of hardwood timber I use is handpicked by me for its character, grain and quality. Most pieces of timber are milled from storm fallen trees and have been air drying for a number of years. This gives each piece I create a unique history and character which cannot be recreated. You can be assured each piece is unique to you, a one off!
