A stunning boxed set of letterpress gingerbread notecards, with four individual designs. We love to bake gingerbread at Christmas time. These cheerful gingerbread people have bright red festive hats, and beaming smiles. Perfect for sending seasonal greetings to special friends, as thank you notes or their size makes them ideal for beautiful gift tags. The beautiful letterpress printed box also makes them a lovely gift. Letterpress is a beautiful vintage technique using gorgeous machines, it is a true craft. The cards have a tactile, embossed finish, exuding quality with thick paper stock and crisp pressed design.

The set includes eight cards and nine envelopes, as it's easy to make a mistake writing an envelope and handy to have a spare.

Sustainability is very important to us at Penguin Ink and therefore we use 100% recycled board for all our cards. As a result, our cards, envelopes, boxes, and glassine pouches are all recyclable. We also pride ourselves on the fact that our products are all made in the UK.

The technique Letterpress is beautiful and uses gorgeous old machines, it is a true craft. Therefore, the finished card has a tactile embossed finish which exudes quality with the thick paper stock and crisp pressed design. As a result, you won't be able to stop touching your cards once they arrive, and neither will your customers. All our cards are single or two-colour prints from a carefully selected range of colours. Our limited colour palette allows cards from different collections to sit perfectly side by side.

Hi I’m Lizzie, the designer behind Penguin Ink luxury letterpress cards and homewares. Working from my garden studio my designs are inspired by my love for nature, featuring my favourite flora and fauna. Our cards are traditionally pressed by lovely local family printers. Letterpress is a beautiful technique, using gorgeous old machines, it is a true craft. My designs are striking and simple using just one or two colours to depict the shadows, highlights of the form, using simple lines and shapes creating a lovely texture on the cards.
