A handcrafted leather bookmark inspired by WWII RAF planes, perfect for aviation enthusiasts and history lovers. This Lancaster Bomber design is part of a series inspired by the planes my grandfather flew while serving in the RAF. The Avro Lancaster was a British four-engined strategic bomber that was used as the RAF's principal heavy bomber during the latter half of the Second World War and was the primary plane my grandfather flew with his crew in The 100 Squadron during 1944.
Hand crafted from genuine and sustainably produced vegetable-tanned leather, it's a cherished little piece of history. Up to 8 letters or numbers can be personalised on the bookmark. Available in black with gold detail, navy blue with silver detail or a special hand painted version where each one is slightly unique.
