A celebration of an iconic piece of nostalgia, taking us straight back to the 80s and 90s. I first made one as a gift for my sister-in-law and enjoyed the process and the finished product so much that I wanted to make more! What would yours say on it?...

Painted with a combination of tape and freehand. Each piece is made-to-order and can be personalised with your choice of handwritten text added across the front, much like it would have been done on an actual cassette. Alternatively you can opt for me to leave it blank.
The reverse is blank (other than my Show Pony authentication stamp), and when gifting it to my sister-in-law we treated it like a birthday card and chose to write our messages on the back, making it that bit more sentimental.
Handmade to-order, please allow up to 21 days.
Artwork is ready to hang, with two wall-mount fixings attached to the back. Alternatively can be displayed on a shelf etc.
Measures 50cm wide
Made using 18mm MDF and paint. Finished with dead flat UV-protective varnish.

St-leonards-on-sea, hastings
Show Pony is the pseudonym of artist and sign-maker Meg Tait. A life-long fascination with words, fonts and fairgrounds is the inspiration for her hand-painted signs & illuminated artworks, which are often fitted with light bulbs and embellished with gold. Alongside these are typographic prints, and wooden cut-outs featuring icons of popular-culture.
