Need to Know

Each board: 35cm x 25 x 2cm
Care instructions:
Wipe the boards with a damp cloth after use.
Use minimal detergent, avoid abrasive sponges.
Dry thoroughly after washing.
Don't soak the boards,
My boards are treated with a premium food 100% natural food safe oil .Mineral oil,coconut oil,vitamin E and beeswax.I use Walrus oil and wax ( no walrus’s involved) it deeply penetrates the wood to give a rich,silky smooth finish.

'The Hug' is two softly curved Yakisugi grazing boards. Handmade from solid oak wood, and designed to nest together as an embrace. Using the Yakisugi technique of fire to colour, seal,to preserve hard woods,One of the boards is charred black, the other lightly toasted. They are just perfect for quiet snacks solo moments,or gifting yourself something beautiful just because.
