Upcycled Floral Coffee Table or Wall Art Panel

This is a hand-painted Floral Mid Century Coffee table which also works as a piece of bespoke wall art (with legs that unscrew easily), creating a flat piece of artwork with brackets to fix to the wall, should you prefer; whether you decide to use this piece as a table or as a vibrant art panel, it has been restored and crafted with love and attention featuring hand-painted details that make it truly one-of-a-kind.

This is a functional teak veneered coffee table dating from around the 1960s with a Mid Century influence. The dansette legs with brass feet are a lovely retro touch and after full preparation to the table top and removal of the old finish, the surface has been refinished professionally with wood oil where natural wood sections remain; and then a hand-painted floral design applied featuring rambling stems and buds inspired by the British countryside.

This hand-painted flower design is entirely bespoke and completely unique, with a carefully selected colour palette of blue and green tones such as, turquoise, forest green and mint; then sealed to finish and protect with a clear top coat.

I can imagine this looking beautiful as a focal point in the living room, a perfect height for putting your feet up too! Or this would definitely bring joy to your day hung as artwork, the possibilities are endless!

This piece is signed and dated on the reverse.

Please keep in mind that this piece is vintage dating from around the 1960s, that said it has been refinished to a good standard and the paintwork/ natural wood has been fully sealed to protect. When using the coffee table, I would recommend using coasters to place drinks on and would avoid placing heat on the surface for a prolonged period without protection. The underside is clean and tidy and signed by me the artist. The table is quite lightweight by design but stands level but please note that the legs unscrew so there is some degree of adjustment should you need it; and if you should want to use this as an art panel, wall brackets will be provided
