A beautiful dried natural white daisy wreath. The flowers used are called Rhodanthe, a delicate flower with a pastel pink pigment. Over time the pigment will fade a little to a dusty pink. Its name Rhodathe means ‘Rose Blossom’ & is first talked about in Greek Mythology.
In the Victorian Era, daisies often symbolised innocence, loyalty and an ability to keep things secret. You could give someone a posy of daisies and as secret code, this could be taken to mean their secret would always be safe with you.
White Daisies are symbolic of Purity and Innocence.
These flowers have held a special place in mythology and folklore, symbolising love, purity, and good luck.
Rhodanthe is the native flower to Australia, although now grown in the U.K. Occasionally due to such high demand for this beautiful delicate flower, I work with European growers, so occasionally during busy periods, your Rhodanthe would have been grown and dried outside of the U.K. Hopefully in 2024 this will change as we are looking to grow many more of the flowers ourselves to meet the ever growing demand.
The flowers are air dried and the Wreath is handmade by Deborah-Máire. The wreath base will either be grape or willow. All sustainably sourced and handmade. The flowers are bound by wire, to prevent loosening over time that can come with hemp string.

Beautiful Sustainable, Seasonal Dried Flowers, Herbs & Grasses, dried and handmade by Deborah-Máire Moon, Founder of MoonKo. MoonKo a beautiful Atelier, where all the flowers are prepared and dried. The flowers are seasonally and naturally air dried with no chemicals, in small batches. The fresh flowers, that are hand dried by Deborah Maire, arrive fresh from incredible growers, all across the U.K and very occasionally from Europe. Its very important to me that no insecticides or fungicides are used in the growing process. The drying process can take many months to perfect and is air dry only.
