My love for stained glass began at local adult education classes, in the dark post-covid evenings of 2021. After learning the traditional skills of glass cutting, leadwork, soldering and cementing, I spent a term creating my first project; an art nouveau inspired door transom, using the leaded light technique.

My interest then turned to copper foiling (also known as the Tiffany process), which lends itself to smaller, decorative pieces that complement all interiors, whether period or modern. This is the technique I use to create my stained glass flowers, stems and wreaths, taking inspiration from the soft muted tones of dried flowers, rather than the brighter colourways typically associated with stained glass. The use of opaque glass across the collection means the pieces look equally stunning against a window, or in the lower light of the interior of a house.

I work from a small studio space in my house situated in the apple orchards of the Low Weald of Kent, and am fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful flora and foliage to inspire my designs.
