• Sold as a set of three bulrush stems.
• Each stem is approximately 36 cm (14 inches) from top to bottom.
• Made from opaque glass, tinned copper wire, patina and wax.
• The solder has a black patina; the stem has a variegated gun-metal patina.
• Please note, the stems will arrive with a bend towards the base (for postage), requiring just gentle pressure either side to straighten them.
• Always handle using the wire stem (not the glass pieces) when carrying or adjusting.
• The stems can be cut down to suit your vase with kitchen scissors.
• Florist's oasis, uncooked rice or sand can be used in your vase to hold the stem in place.
• Use of such filler will also enable you to create different heights of the stems, without trimming.
• Opaque glass is used, which means these stems look equally stunning against a window or in the lower light of the interior of a house.
• Solder contains lead, which is toxic if ingested. Please wash hands after handling and keep out of children's reach.
• Each piece is made to order and the glass shapes are cut entirely freehand (no templates) to replicate the variation seen in nature; as such your item will differ slightly from the photos shown here.
