Need to Know
- Sold individually - one stem with seven catkins affixed.
- Each stem is approximately 36 cm (14 inches) from top to bottom.
- Made from glass, copper foil, tinned copper wire, patina, wax.
- The stems can be cut down to suit your vase with kitchen scissors.
- Florist's oasis, uncooked rice or sand can be used in your vase to hold the stem in place - use of such filler will also enable you to create different heights of the stems, without trimming.
- Opaque glass is used, which means these stems look equally stunning against a window or in the lower light of the interior of a house.
- Please note, the stems will arrive with a bend towards the base (for postage), requiring just gentle pressure either side to straighten them.
- Always handle using the wire stem (not the glass pieces) when carrying/adjusting.
- Solder contains lead, which is toxic if ingested. Please wash hands after handling and keep out of children's reach.

Bring light and elegance to your space with this handmade stained glass Pussy Willow stem. Stained glass flower stem "Pussy Willow" (Salix), created using the copper foil Tiffany technique in the palest of soft pinks. A simple, elegant stem that looks beautiful displayed in a vase or bottle, bringing light to wherever it is situated.
Each stem is made to order and the glass shapes are cut entirely freehand (no templates) to replicate the variation seen in nature; as such your stem will differ slightly from the photos shown here. The solder around the glass has a black patina, and the stem has a variegated gun-metal patina.
