From hand-harvested Pure Sea Salt, to unique Oak Smoked Water and best-selling Black Garlic Ketchup, our condiments and ingredients add an adventurous edge to your dishes, always with an eye on sustainability.

A family business, run on a day-to-day basis by co-founder Alison Lea-Wilson, with new product development and comms managed by her daughter Jess Lea-Wilson, and key decisions made by a family board.

The story behind the business
Meet Halen Môn

We specialise in interesting, unusual and delicious sea salt and seasonings that bring depth and flavour to your cooking.

After a spell being fishmongers, and a longer one running an aquarium, Alison and David Lea-Wilson turned their efforts to sea salt - and it has been a speciality since 1997. We still make it by hand from the seawater that surrounds the beautiful island of Anglesey. We also have a smokery where we make our award-winning Oak Smoked Water, and sell award-winning condiments famed far and wide for their flavour.

We started our business because we love the landscape of North Wales, and wanted to make our home here. It makes sense then that we look after it – we have won the Queen's Award for sustainability, and were very proud to be certified B Corp in recognition of our commitment to looking after our team and our environment. Still family run, and still concentrating on doing things the right way.
