Conversations of Inspiration – Live in Edinburgh
The final live episode of Conversations of Inspiration of 2019 was recorded in front of a live audience in the glorious Edinburgh, with special guest Charlie Gladstone.
As the founder of Pedlars & The Goodlife Experience, Charlie is hugely passionate about design, provenance, supporting makers, and running businesses: but most importantly in helping everyone to ‘Live the Good Life’, and to do what they love.
His company Pedlars exemplifies this approach to supporting small, operating as a beautiful general store & cafe in Notting Hill (as well as an online store); selling unique & vintage homewares, clothing and everything in between.
Charlie’s festival, The Goodlife Experience, is likewise a celebration of ‘the good life’; emphasising the importance of craft, the outdoors and conscious consumption in reaction to the increasingly fast paced and chaotic realities of day to day life.
In their conversation, Holly & Charlie discuss why you should shop with purpose and a consciousness, how to harness an overflowing enthusiasm (as a person and as a business owner!), and most of all, how love and passion can propel you through this journey.
