Description

Handmade traditional cobweb broom...

Handmade traditional cobweb broom.

The cobweb broom is the broom you never knew you needed! Perfect for cobwebs in high-up ceiling corners, but also other hard-to-reach places like underneath the dishwasher, behind the fridge or radiator, in between blinds or on top of curtain rails.

It's also perfect for halloween decor, to really bring that witchy vibe!

Made from broomcorn, hazel wood, nylon and leather. Oiled with linseed oil.

Broomcorn is a natural fibre, a type of sorghum. The wooden handle is harvested by me from my small patch of woodland in Carmarthenshire, Wales, or bought in from a coppice 15 miles away.

Store hanging or leant against a wall with the fibre pointing upwards.

Rosa Harradine with some unfinished brooms

Rosa Harradine

Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire

Hello, I’m Rosa and I’m a brush and broom maker. I aim to make pieces that are beautiful as well as useful and I love to experiment with bright colours and bold designs.

I use natural, sustainable materials including arenga, tampico and broomcorn fibres, as well as hemp thread and wood grown in my own small woodland.

My brushes and brooms are a joy to hold, to use and to admire, and I hope they bring pleasure to the daily routines within your home.
