This black broomcorn handbroom is perfect for a variety of uses: kitchen floors, studios or workshops, hallways, vans, wooden stairs, hearths… the list goes on!

Broomcorn is a natural fibre, a type of sorghum. It is stiff but has wispy ends, ideal for sweeping dirt and dust.

Made to be used and admired!

Need to know

Approx. 25x43cm

Made from black dyed broomcorn, nylon cord and cotton strap. If the fibre is handled a lot, a small amount of black dye may transfer to your hands.

As these are handmade, no two will be exactly the same.

Store hanging or laying flat in a damp-free place.

Rosa Harradine with some unfinished brooms

Rosa Harradine

Hello, I’m Rosa and I’m a brush and broom maker. I aim to make pieces that are beautiful as well as useful and I love to experiment with bright colours and bold designs.

I use natural, sustainable materials including arenga, tampico and broomcorn fibres, as well as hemp thread and wood grown in my own small woodland.

My brushes and brooms are a joy to hold, to use and to admire, and I hope they bring pleasure to the daily routines within your home.
