Croissant – part of my Cake series of original hand pulled silkscreen prints. Some prints in each edition contain an element of mono printing making them slightly varied and unique. Others use printed textures.
With an array of exquisite shapes, rich colours and lush textures, my cake series has been a delicious joy to draw and print. Each one is cooked-up with a large dollop of fun, as dash of nostalgia, and all with no added sugar!

Sold unframed wrapped in acid free tissue and shipped in a sturdy cardboard roll.
Screen printing is a manual process in which layers of ink are applied to the paper through a stencil on a stretched mesh, one colour and stencil at a time, to create a whole picture. The number of layers - or ‘pulls’ - depends on the complexity of the print. Due to the nature of hand screen printing, some marks or slight imperfections may occur during the printing process from time to time. I like to think of these as happy accidents and they add to the charm and unique quality of my prints.
