I love the simplicity of this sketch of a mum and girl with the words, "I Was Looking For You". I try to create work that is intimate but allows enough space for the viewer to come into the picture too bring their own interpretation, and their own story.
This little sketch distills many powerful emotions to me, but ultimately it is about the invisible thread that is forever there between a mother and child.
It is a beautiful and meaningful print either for yourself, or as a thoughtful gift to another mum.
A hand initialed print from the 'Sketchy Muma' series.
This is an A4 UNFRAMED PRINT which fits into a standard A4 size "off - the - shelf" frame.
Printed on 270g High Quality Giclee photo paper at my studio in Cornwall.
Packaged in a cellophane sleeve with backing board and sent in a hardback envelope.

Sketchy Muma
st. agnes, cornwall
Hi, my name is Anna and I am an artist from Cornwall. I started my Sketchy Muma drawings back in 2014, shortly after becoming a new mum. It started off as a personal project, but I now produce prints and cards that you can also enjoy in your home, or as a meaningful gift to send to someone. I love making simple observational drawings about family and day to day life, and distilling into words and pictures the precious relationships that make us human.
