Jerome's Orange Foresters is inspired by urban texture, layers of paste ups and spray paint around Brick lane, Shoreditch.The orange and the jade attracted my attention being one of my fave colours. This original artwork by Evi Antonio is inspired by the urban textures, paste-ups, and spray paint of Brick Lane, Shoreditch. The orange and jade colours, a favourite of the artist, are deconstructed from a photograph to reveal a pattern reflecting a lush green forest, contrasted with the orange of butterflies and primitive markings.
Nature is always beautiful to me but I also see abstract beauty in the decaying and disregarded paste ups on the streets of London.
