A mechanically-animated weather forecast in a clock! Connected to a clever internal barometer, beautiful illustrations, by London-artist Josh Patterson, rotate into view to tell you of forthcoming inclement or sunny weather conditions. A fantastic British reinvention of the traditional barometer.

Josh's artwork shows London's unmistakable landmarks and the spirit of its inhabitants, in fair weather or in foul. Limited to just 250 pieces, it's a real collector's item and a clock that Bramwell Brown is very proud to handmake at its Hampshire workshop.

Available in Midnight Black powder coated frame or Copper-plated finish.

Need to know
  • This Limited Edition Weather Clock captures the spirit of London. It forecasts the day’s weather with illustrations inspired by the city, from sunny spells to stormy downpours.
  • A good size – the Weather Clock's frame measures 33cm diameter (13 inches) and 12.5cm deep (5 inches) – big enough to work as a single focal point in a room, small enough to sit alongside other wall art and furnishings.
  • Hand Assembled in Great Britain. All of our Patented, British-designed clocks are assembled by hand at our workshop in Hampshire, England – delicate, skilled work.
  • The 'Mechanimated' illustrations change with the air pressure, just like the barometers of old. One of five weather forecasts are shown at any given time of day: ‘Very Dry’, ‘Fair’, ‘Change’, ‘Rain’, or ‘Stormy’.
  • Watch it change. Why wait for the weather to turn? Press the ‘Mechanimate Button’ on the base of the clock to make it whizz into life – then watch the reaction from friends and family who want to witness what the clock can do.
  • Easy to hang (indoors!) A single screw in the wall can hold the clock and you get a nifty hanging guide in the box. One thing to note: please don't hang it within 50cm (20 inches) of a radiator. The delicate mechanics don’t enjoy direct heat.
  • Certificate of Authenticity. A badge of honour for every Bramwell Brown Weather Clock we make, signed by the team members that assembled it for you.
  • Quality materials. Steel clock frame is hand-finished. The Black, powder coated frames are silky smooth. Copper-plated frames have a nice clear lacquer finish to prevent any oxidisation over time. Printed vinyl clock face sits behind the anodised metal minute and hour hands. Weather artwork print is onto lightweight artboard. The clock window is shatterproof Lumex.
  • Runs on regular batteries. Included, of course, with all clocks.

Bramwell Brown Clocks - Rob and Sarah

Bramwell Brown Art Clocks

Somerset house, london

Hi! We are Rob & Sarah, a brother and sister team originally from Lancashire. We trace our love of curious mechanical objects back to our childhood – to Sunday afternoons, when Dad would wind the grandfather clock, then tap on the barometer to see what the weather might be up to that day. Our clocks were born out of that shared fascination with old clock mechanics. It was our dream to create beautiful clocks that summoned that same sense of childhood fun and nostalgia.

Our clocks are customisable so do please check the product descriptions for guidance!
