A unique wall hanging featuring a one-of-a-kind long tailed tit sculpture, made from hand-printed recycled paper and perched on a wreath of pale pink hydrangeas. The bird's pose, colour palette and textures are all unique, with a black and white body and delicate pink head and belly feathers.
I use traditional printing techniques such as monotype and screen printing to mark the recycled paper. Everything is handmade, from the hand-cut feathers that cover the body to the wire-shaped feet. The sculpture is finished with a UV protective lacquer.
