I HAVE NO| INTEREST IN FOLLOWING IN YOUR FOOTSTEPS
Piper's advice is never to follow in anyone's footsteps when you can create your own. Hers are wobbly and have been on their own path since she was born.
I was told when Piper was first born and I was finally able to hold her after many weeks in intensive care, that she would never hold her head up, know my love or be able to love me. It's a pretty big statement to make about a baby that was 6 weeks old. I feel that Piper has always made her own footsteps, never followed the markers that every human in the UK is measured by and she certainly isn't going to start now, now shes 16.
Couldn't be prouder that she walks her own if slightly wobbly path it certainly is a magical one.

Pipers art is influenced by movies, tv shows and music, where she finds that one special scene that connects to her emotionally. This can be through humour, love or tragedy. She then creatively changes the context to her personally, her relationships mainly with her (imaginary) boyfriends and family (dead or alive).
Piper has a magical way of connecting through her notes and drawings expressing how she feels that she can't put into spoken word, either due to her autism, deafness or being a teenager. This level of creativity and connection is what makes her and her art truly beautiful, unique and sometimes absolutely hilarious.

Enjoy your connection with Notes by Piper.

Notes by Piper

stoke newington, london

Piper's notes are to her imaginary boyfriends Tony Thompson / Lee, Jake or Jim.

Piper Revere is a Hackney artist who is 17, autistic and profoundly deaf, with a creative talent to be truly jealous of.

Piper communicates and connects with people through her notes in a truly magical way. Some to her imaginary boyfriends and others to her family if they're lucky.

“When I do my art it helps me with my wobbly balance. I do it all myself.”
