This lovely little bud vase can be used to display a few fresh stems in water, or for dried flowers and grasses. Perfect for that prized specimen bloom or even a garden casualty that you can’t bear to throw on the compost heap just yet!...
This lovely little bud vase can be used to display a few fresh stems in water, or for dried flowers and grasses. Perfect for that prized specimen bloom or even a garden casualty that you can’t bear to throw on the compost heap just yet!
These bud vases are decorated with a robin and have three test tubes.
The robin is double sided and is cut from FSC certified mdf and recycled paper. The base is made from reclaimed wood.
The wooden base and robin have been sealed and polished with natural beeswax for a soft, protective sheen.
Size will vary slightly due to the reclaimed nature of the wood but will be approximately 8-10cm.
Please note, the test tubes should be taken out before filling with water.

Hi, I'm Karen and I'm the sole pair of hands behind Kettle of Fish Designs.
My work has a distinctive style - it's made for homes which have a personality that develops over time and doesn't necessarily follow trends. Many of the materials I use are recycled, reclaimed, repurposed or upcycled and this enhances the distinctive character that you only get from handmade.
I combine vintage imagery with a rustic aesthetic, so my pieces really suit environments that combine inherited pieces, quirky collections and secondhand finds.
