Need to Know

Archival, pigment printed onto German Etching fine art paper, mounted onto paper panel. Hand finished with acrylic glaze and varnish. Framed in a bespoke, hand painted circular wooden frame with hangings included. 40cm x 40cm. The Art is hand signed on the back and is an edition of 3 and comes with a cirtificate of authenticity.

Yellow, Goliath Birdwing is a painting inspired by enduring friendship and strength. I painted this with a close friend in mind whom has been a beacon of light.
Discovering the beautiful words by Donna Ashworth, I resonated with how she describes that special friendship perfectly with her poem, Yellow.
" Some people walk into your life with a light that can only be described as yellow. These people, your yellows are endlessly funny. They are warm and safe, a comforting place..."
The Goliath birdwing is one of the largest butterflies in the world and sits centrally amongst a lush, symmetrical, tropical setting. A perfect artwork for nature lovers and for your special "Yellow"
