Soft focused blurry image on Sketchy Muma in Studio behind some paintbrushes and a pink and blue teapot cosy

This beautiful print encapsulates the sheer love and pride a mother feels for her little boy.
I love drawing heart-shaped trees as it represents that love keeps growing and the bond gets deeper no matter how old you child is. I like observing the body language of humans and how they interact in relationships and this classic mum hug is one of my favourites to sketch.
This print would be a treat for yourself or a thoughtful gift for another mum.
It would also look great in a child's bedroom as everyone can recognise the love in this hug!

Sketchy Muma

st. agnes, cornwall

Hi, my name is Anna and I am an artist from Cornwall. I started my Sketchy Muma drawings back in 2014, shortly after becoming a new mum. It started off as a personal project, but I now produce prints and cards that you can also enjoy in your home, or as a meaningful gift to send to someone. I love making simple observational drawings about family and day to day life, and distilling into words and pictures the precious relationships that make us human.
