Description

A beautifully detailed watercolour portrait of your home. This bespoke illustration is the perfect way to capture your beloved family home, a new home or a favourite holiday home. A gift for an anniversary, to mark a milestone or simply for yourself to encapsulate somewhere you hold dear.

Our homes and the buildings we cherish are steeped in memory and nostalgia, with all sorts of emotions intertwined and having a unique, hand painted illustration to bring this to life in a completely unique way is a wonderful heirloom to treasure.

My work is intricately detailed with free hand ink outlines, brought to life by layering up colour and depth with watercolour paints.

Stories mean everything to me and it is such a pleasure to be trusted with recreating these, encapsulated in a building or place for you.

Need to know

Intricately detailed watercolour illustration of approximately 120mmx150mm (to suit the subject) in the centre of an A4 (210mm x 297mm) off white watercolour paper, portrait orientation.

The piece will arrive with a grey board backing wrapped in recycled tissue paper, with no plastic included in the process. This is an unframed illustration.

I will need you to provide:
- High quality photo of the house / building / place you would like illustrated
- Any hand lettering you would like included below, checked carefully for spelling and punctuation. This might be names, an address or dates.

The Process
- Once your order has been received, I will get to work sketching up your illustration in pencil
- I will send over an initial sketch for approval
- Once approved, I will draw up in ink then bring it to life with watercolour
- Then when it's just perfect, I will get it carefully packaged up and sent out to you

The lead time is approximately six weeks, but if you have a specific date in mind, please ask prior to ordering and I will always try and meet these where possible.

To send me your image(s) after you have placed your order, please use the Customer Contact Form on the Contact Us page and select ‘I need to send images to the Co for a personalised product’ option. You’ll then be able to attach your images. You’ll also be reminded on how to send these within your Order Confirmation email too. If you could please send these within 24hours of purchase so your delivery time isn’t impacted

If you have any questions at all, I would be happy to help and please contact me prior to ordering.

Photo of Imogen Partridge, a white thirty-something female with mid brown hair tied in a pony tail, sitting at a table with her paint brush in her hand. She is looking to the right and smiling, whilst working on a watercolour illustration. She wears olive green dungarees and in the background which is slightly blurred is a white wall with a framed artwork poster on.

Telling stories through watercolour illustration, I bring your favourite buildings, places and things to life through intricately detailed watercolour illustration.

I love to surprise and delight, drawing attention to less obvious places or buildings. Capturing the character and charm of everything I paint, while championing small businesses and introducing some of my favourites through my illustrations, is another way I love to connect people through my work.
