Dala Horse Traditional Nordic Christmas Linocut Garland

Hand printed Linocut garland. My Folk Art inspired Dala Horses with stars hang with a heart in the centre, for that cosy Christmas.

A traditional favourite the Dala Horse symbolises strength, courage, good luck and wisdom. It's thought if you had a horse in rustic culture you were blessed as they were a great help supporting the family. The symbol became the familiar folk art we know today as the Dala horse. This unique handmade garland is my interpretation. I was inspired by Scandi style mark making of old, it’s created through the art of Linocut. Hang in your Hygge home to invite goodwill and warm blessings inside during the festive season, shared with family and friends.
