I wanted a pair of comfortable earrings to wear every day with my pendants. I like to wear an eclectic mix of jewellery and as my pieces are so decorative I wanted the earrings to be simple. Hoop earrings are my go to, but I didn’t want to wear plain ones, they needed a twist. The Gladys Twisted Hoops are named after my husbands grandmother ~ Gladys Gavin.

These hoops are not made in my workshop, they are from one of my UK based suppliers.

MATERIALS

Silver: Solid sterling silver.

Gold: Solid sterling silver - plated in responsibly sourced and ethical 24ct Gold.

My gold pieces are classed as Vermeil, this means that the base metal is Sterling Silver and there has been 2.5 microns of 24ct gold deposited on its surface. I plate my rings to 5 microns as they see more wear and tear.
