Small flower vase in the form of a house with a ceramic blue tit. These are all unique one of a kind pieces and no two are alike. Made in white earthenware clay with clear gloss glaze.
These vases were hand thrown and the windows and door shapes pressed into the clay. A cut-out heart shaped window was added. Once dry and bisque fired, they were painted by hand in underglaze colours, dipped in clear earthenware glaze, and fired again .
These little bud vases are ideal as an individual or look lovely in a small group or teamed with a small fir tree or miniature pet sculpture. They would make an ideal wedding, Mother's Day, or housewarming gift.
Height 11 to 12 cm
Width 6.5 to 7 cm
The vases can be hand washed using a small bottle brush.

Hello, I'm Lucy, the face behind lucyandjaneceramics.
I design and make whimsical pottery in my garden studio including tableware, decor and sculpture. My inspiration comes from the world around me, from the flowers in the garden to little creatures that inhabit the green space. A ball of clay is where it all begins, meaning my items have a hand produced quality that can't be found with mass produced ceramics. My aim is to make customers smile with each quirky detail.
