Handpainted with spray paint and acrylic, this skateboard deck is an encouraging reminder that hard times will always end and that better days are coming. A statement art piece to add colour, kindness and something a little different to a space.
A limited edition of 5, all individually painted, this is the last one remaining.
Skateboarding and street art are kindred spirits and the spray painted background connects to that history and the artist’s own street art and murals.
Easy to hang with standard picture hooks and fishing wire (see Need to know for more info).
Skateboard dimensions: 82cm x 20cm
Spray paint and acrylic on wooden skateboard deck.
Securely packaged in bubble wrap and a special corrugated cardboard layered sleeve to protect it all the way from studio to doorstep. Shipping includes full insurance.
The simplest way to hang a skateboard on the wall is using fishing wire and picture hooks. See here for a quick explanation: https://www.wikihow.com/Hang-a-Skateboard-on-a-Wall
There are also lots of wall mounts made specifically for hanging skateboards on the wall, available at very little cost. The mounts fix into the truck holes on the skateboard deck and are then attached to the wall. A quick google of ‘skateboard wall mount’ should bring up lots of options straight away.
As this skateboard is painted to order, please allow 2-3 weeks lead time for this artwork.

Hello, I’m Naomi and I create art that aims to promote hope and optimism and bring a little light to someone having a dark day. I collect people’s coping strategies and then craft the heart of their messages into typographic artworks that offer a kindness and an opening of possibility. Across street art, painting, print and textiles, Survival Techniques celebrates our shared experiences, our strengths and the current of hope within that keeps us moving forwards.
