Description

Decorative panel made from the 'fold-up' leaf of a vintage table, saved from landfill, now art for the wall!...

Decorative panel made from the 'fold-up' leaf of a vintage table, saved from landfill, now art for the wall!

Painted in thick layers of paint. The image combines images; the florals from the 17th century. They have been printed, by myself, in fade resistant ink. All applied, using the decoupage technique. I have then painted across the top in very thick, textured layers and then distressed this, in some areas back to wood. The text 'magic is real', reads in the green of the undercoat. Hand painted flowers finish it. Finally varnished and with a wire on the back so it's ready to hang on the wall.

91cm L, 67.5cm H, 2.5cm thick and weighs 9kg.
