For lounging around, nights in (or nights out!) and all year-round instant style; we don't want to take these off. Our limited-edition cotton robes are block printed by hand by our artisan team in Jaipur, India, then finished with contrasting borders and the most delicate piping we have seen, ever.
The kimono styling brings effortless style perfect for lounging at home, taking to the beach or for those sudden "I need to get chocolate" corner shop visits!
Our Niwa print offers a modern take on traditional Indian buti designs, and comes in a gorgeous dusty pink colourway with unexpected colour pops.
When creating a woodblock print, the design is first traced onto translucent paper, to guide the block maker who then slowly carves it out of wood using a hammer and chisel.
The printer then dips the blocks into a pad that holds the different dyes.
By hand, one block per colour is then stamped carefully and precisely to start building up the design, layer by layer.

These gowns are handprinted using traditional methods. You may find slight variations in pattern and colour as each artisan will print with different pressure, in his own way. We believe these add charm and tell a story, making each product unique.

Hello, I am Noa. During my career as a designer, I have travelled to India extensively and worked with iconic brands such as Anokhi, who introduced me to the wonders of block printing. I started ai.no.ah to celebrate craftsmanship, collaborating with artisans to create collections inspired by traditional crafts paired with contemporary sensibility. The focus behind the brand is on small-scale ethical production, creating sustainable, unique and beautiful styles.
