For the more adventurous, here is a collection of four Vespucci Hikes that will give the lungs a good work out. "The Vale of Edale" starts from Edale Station in the Peak District and takes in Kinder Scout. Just up the railway line is Hathersage, the start of "The Dark Peak". Enjoy Bronte country and Stanage Edge. The collection includes "The Hills of Edinburgh", a great walk around six hills of Edinburgh including Arthur's Seat. Finally, have a go at "A Break in Brecon" starting from Abergavenny Station in South Wales. Sugar Loaf is your objective for the day. All these walks make for great weekend adventures. The Vespucci Maps and Guidebooks contain everything you need for a great time (but do check the weather forecast!).

Vespucci Signature Hikes all have a good cafe near the start, a pub towards the end, great views and interesting places to see along the way. Most are directly accessible by train and public transport.

Kit lists, names of pubs and cafes, hotels, taxis and descriptions of points of interest are all included. Every guidebook contains a "Plan B" if things start to go awry.
