For a home cook or kitchen lover, this wooden egg holder adds a touch of natural elegance to your countertop. This Yakisugi (charred) egg stand is hand cut from locally sourced reclaimed oak, then lightly charred around the edges and handle with grill lines across the top.

Yakisugi is a traditional Japanese technique of colouring, sealing, and preserving wood using only fire. The boards are then combed, sanded, washed, and rubbed down with a natural oil. Using salvaged oak, fire to colour and preserve, and natural oils to finish means these lovely boards are 100% natural and environmentally friendly.
