Chip and dip oak serving holder, to serve your fries and favourite sauce, style. Make chips extra special with these individual serving holders.
Hand cut from locally sourced reclaimed oak, these chip holders are then charred, for that homely feel. Your chip holder comes with a glass bowl for your sauce, two sample paper cones, and instructions for how to make your own. Make it a special family evening by turning drawings into cones, before settling down to eat your fries. Ketchup or mayonnaise?
Charring or Yakisugi is a traditional Japanese technique of colouring, sealing, and preserving wood using only fire. The chip holders are then combed, sanded, washed, and rubbed down with a natural oil. Using oak that has been salvaged, fire to colour and preserve, and natural oils to finish, means that they are 100% natural, and environmentally friendly.

Hi, I’m Hayley - a maker, obsessed with cooking, and seeing food beautifully presented.
I’ve been transforming wood, fabrics, and furniture for over 20 years, working mainly on commissions and with chefs and event designers.
Since moving to the UK in 2016, Yakisugi (or charring) has been the focus of my work.
Each item in my wooden tableware collection is designed to accentuate the colour and texture of food, as it contrasts so beautifully with the charred wood.
