A thoroughly useful pot to keep your tooth, scrubbing, make up or paint brushes handy. Or just mix it up with a beautiful bunch of flowers. For the classic form of this pot Katie was inspired by a 1940’s jam jar, it had the most satisfying shape, with it's simple straight-sides, short neck and rounded lip. A wonderfully tactile piece with the word BRUSHES recessed on the side. The lettering can be hand painted in Blue, Green or Red. Alternatively you can keep things classic and choose the clean lines of the plain option. For an extra organised work space team with matching PENS Jar. Katie has finished this jug with a glossy transparent glaze to show of the natural soft cream colour of the fired clay.

Katie Brinsley Ceramics

Hawkhurst, Kent

I love making, I can’t help it, my hands get restless when I’m not. That’s how Katie Brinsley Ceramics started, with my hands. They momentarily let me down as my friends treasured butter dish slipped out of them smashing on her floor. This inspired me to make the best possible replacement! I chose slip casting for its beautiful clean lines and tactile smooth finish that makes an everyday object a delight to use. I haven’t stopped making my ceramic tableware since.
