Inspired by Otto, my very own German Shorthaired Pointer, this wooden hand-painted dog memory decoration is the perfect gift to send to someone whose dog is like a member of their family.
When I lost my first dog, Marley, I was heartbroken. When my friend gave me a framed photo of him, it was one of the most thoughtful things anyone had ever done. These are the times when you experience people at their most thoughtful.
These keepsake decorations are the perfect gift to send to someone who is grieving the loss of their dog. They are a happy representation of the dog, in the recognisable "Otto & Flow" style and a heartwarming way to remember that the bond between a dog and their human that will never be lost as their memory lives on.

Style:
All portrait decorations will be painted, on one side in the "Otto & Flow Style". The reverse side is painted a plain, co-ordinating colour. As you can see from the photos shared already, they will be side on on the size of dog outline as shown here. If your dog has particular markings, such as a grey muzzle and special colourings, ticking or patches these can be added.

Equally, if you would like to order a standard decoration as shown in my listing photos, without any special markings, just state this at checkout by typing " standard as in listing photo, no special markings" So for example " Standard GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTER as in Listing photos, no special markings"

Sending A Photo:
After you have placed your order, please use the Customer Contact Form on the Contact Us page and select ‘I need to send images to the Co' for a personalised product option. You’ll then be able to attach your images. You’ll also be reminded on how to send these within your Order Confirmation email too. If you could please send these within 24 of purchase so delivery time isn’t impacted.
If you haven't sent photos within 72 hours, I will assume that you will like your decoration to be a similar design and colour to that of the main listing photo.

Most dogs are painted side on and the overall shape, will be the same size and shape as the listing photo, but with your dogs features added. If you have more than one photo, please feel free to send me them as the more you send me, the better I will be able to represent the dog.
Sizing:
This German Shorthaired Pointer decoration measures 10cm from nose to tail. It is 4mm thick.

Weight:
The decorations vary in weight between approximately 10g-15g depending on the breed and customisation.
Postage Destination and Gift wrap:
All orders come carefully gift wrapped in tissue. If you would prefer the portrait decoration to be send direct to the recipient, as a "letterbox gift" (within the UK only) then please let me know when you place your order, choosing the recipient's address address at checkout and I can send it direct for you.

Material:
The decoration is made from a light wood, sealed with a varnish on both sides and hung with either a two - colour bakers twine or jute twine. This can be chosen as a customisation. It has been strung with approximately 30cm of twine so that it can be used for a variety of uses.
Please see the last two/ three photos which demonstrate the 2 options for twine colours - natural jute , grey and white.
